Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru
Kempegowda International Airport serves Bengaluru from Devanahalli, about 40 km north of the city, and opened on 24 May 2008. It was India’s first greenfield airport developed and operated by a private consortium, and was renamed after the city’s founder, Kempegowda, in 2013.
