Passive DAS

PASSIVE DAS

Today's Passive DAS (Distributed Antenna System) Array Solutions are a combination of key components that make it work. These components are: Quality Assurance, our industry-leading team of Design Engineers and Certified Integrators, and absolute best cellular signal boosting equipment available on the market today. When it comes to sustainable, high-quality interior cellular data and voice connectivity, there's no, "one size fits all" solution. Following the installation and commissioning of our systems, our solutions are tuned to maximize longevity and system performance. Passive DAS Array In-Building Signal Improving Solution for Business are very sustainable and cost efficient systems, helping enterprises cover cellular coverage distributions.

Designed specifically to cause no interference to the mobile network, our Passive DAS is a cutting-edge solution that has been specifically engineered to enhance indoor cellular connectivity for data and voice. Serving as a transmitter between users within your building and carrier cell towers, our Passive DAS solution is a system comprising of (DA) Donor Antennas, (AMP) Amplifiers, and (BA) Broadcast Antennae.
Connecting "Off Air" with the cell towers, the DA sends a signal to the Amps; the signal is then amplified, with the Amps distributing both power and RF (Radio Frequency) via coaxial cable to the BAs. That amplified donor signal is broadcast via the BAs to the interior of your building, supplying all cell devices with reliable cellular data and voice signal

The Required Site Survey

Signal readings will be taken from both inside and outside the building. Then, using Google Earth's measurements of exterior dimensions of the building, we can quickly determine the square footage of interior of the building. In order to ensure installation provides consistent and reliable wireless coverage throughout interior spaces, building areas like production areas, warehouses, and office areas will be inspected.

Planning To Compensate For Future Unavoidable Signal Degradations

During times of network congestion, bad weather, etc., further degradation of the signal within the building is expected. Such events impact cellular coverage in the production floor buildout, the office area, warehouse buildout, and other niche sections of the building where cell signals are required to be very good consistently. Radio frequencies can also be affected by everyday materials like glass, water, stone, and metal; which reflect the RFs on which cellular data and voice signals are transmitted. The problem is further exacerbated in manufacturing and production environments, simply due to the volume of material and equipment. Plus, if the building in question is situated on a major highway, Macro Network capacity issues will likely be experienced during the morning and evening rush hours.

Choose A Passive DAS Array Signal Boosting Solution

In addition to current signal issues you may be facing, compensating for future possible further signal degradations as stated above, we recommend a robust Passive DAS Array Solution installed in the building.

Scope Of Work

    Planning And Engineering:
  • Based on information provided by our client and the site survey completed by our team, the cellular signal assessment will be finalized
  • Based on signal assessment, the client's connectivity needs, and data collected, the signal solution will be designed
  • An engineering plan for the Interior Cellular Signal Solution will then be prepared.

Installation

  • According to the engineering plan supplied, an RF cable will be installed from the rooftop to the installation sites for the amplifiers and broadcast antenna(s).
  • The coaxial in-line amplifiers will be installed.
  • Antenna mount hardware will be installed.
  • The donor antenna will be installed on the rooftop
  • The signal amplifiers will be installed.
  • According to the engineering plan, the broadcast antennas will be installed.

Trim Out

  • In-line coaxial amplifiers and RF coaxial cable connectors are trimmed out
  • Exterior donor antenna is trimmed out to ensure maximum carrier signal
  • Amplifier sites, cable runs, and broadcast antenna sites are trimmed out.

Quality Control Testing And Tuning

  • Signal amplifiers are configured and commissioned as per solution design
  • Broadcast antennas are tested to ensure reliable signal coverage and adherence to engineering design plan
  • Overall operation of the system is tested.

System Capabilities

Providing coverage for all Telcos enabling cellular voice, data, and text, in coverage areas as per the installation plan.
